It is an exciting time to be part of the Bay UMC Children's Program! You can help support us by becoming a Class Leader on Sunday mornings! Our new model gives you everything you need to walk in on Sunday morning to the classroom and be prepared for the time with the children. No preparation necessary, just 30 minutes of your time per week! Monthly time slots (four consecutive Sundays or more) are recommended and encouraged, but not necessary. ASP is a faith-filled, life-changing service experience for youth, college students and adults.
Each summer, Bay United Methodist Church sends new and experienced youth and adult volunteers to Central Appalachia for a week of building safer, warmer, and drier homes for those in need.

Fill This House is a nonprofit organization that supports young people transitioning out of the foster care system. Bay United Methodist Church collaborates with them to provide essential household items for these individuals. The mission of the Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank is to foster literacy and a love of reading by distributing free books to children through collaboration with community partners.

Second Harvest is the regional nonprofit committed to fighting hunger. Bay United Methodist Church works to support Second Harvest as they acquire, gather, and distribute nutritious food, Second Harvest helps feed tens of thousands of people throughout Crawford, Erie, Huron, and Lorain counties.

Regarded as an ideal source of protein, eggs offer an affordable way to deliver high-quality nutrition to those in need. Each month, a collection is held to purchase dozens of eggs, which are then distributed through a local food bank to support individuals and families in the Cleveland area.
